labrum shoot ( part two )

i found a nice grey wall in the carpark to shoot some tight headshots of louie ( the model )

while i was setting up the lighting i took a quick snapshot of louie with my assistant also in frame.

i thought it looked quite good with the two of them, so stepped further back to do a full length shot.

i kind of liked this set up so put my assistant in a labrum jacket.

then i tried louie on the left.

then with louie sitting down and my assistant standing

and finally, one with a fill in light coming from alongside the camera.

i had a shoot for a brand called labrum last week. one location i wanted to use was in an underground carpark.

this is the first photo i took, with the model more or less in place.

i wanted to make the background a little darker and the lighting to be somewhat moodier, so i had my assistant hold a small battery light from the left hand side.

i was pretty happy with this so i had her step out of frame, turn up the brightness a little and took a few frames.

as the background and lighting were looking good i felt it only right that i stepped in at the end for a team pic.
